My garden’s focus is on trees. A 9-year-old suburban “work in progress”, I’m adding new plantings to existing trees and shrubs on an abandoned pasture, with now 60+ different varieties. A meadow is being encouraged on a dry west-facing slope. Pesticide-free vegetables will be on sale from Marché McMillan (www.marchemcmillan.ca), as well as local arts and crafts.

Un travail en cours depuis maintenant 9 ans, j’ajoute de nouvelles plantations à des arbres et arbustes déja existants dans les pâturages abandonnés. Lors de votre visite dans mon jardin vous pourez acheter des légumes sans pesticides de la ferme Marché McMillan (www.marchemcmillan.ca), ainsi que de l’art et artisanat du Pontiac.

- Take route 148 north. About 8 Km from Principale in Aylmer or 5 km from the west end of Boul des Allumettières, turn left (towards river) on ch McKay. (It’s the first turn after ch Lilas, opposite 1574 route 148). Also after Dépanneur Eardley.
- On McKay, take first right (Rose). My house is at the end on the left, the blue house. Best to turn around and park on Rose. There is room on driveway for a few cars, but will need to reverse out if several cars.
- About 3 km from Ghost Hill, the steep hill after Breckenridge Creek, turn right (towards river) on ch McKay, which is the first street on right after Maple (on left). Then as above.
