#6 – Beaux Arbres Plantes Indigènes/Native Plants

29 Ragged Chute Road, Bristol
Trish Murphy and Michael Peterson

Our 1840 homestead’s original log house and barn provide a beautiful backdrop for our native plant nursery. A swale we created to direct snow-melt from heritage buildings became an easy-care meadow garden for indigenous plants. Granite outcrops nurture a rock garden, while pond restoration engendered a meadow of little bluestem grass and other natives.

Gifts: Natives are for sale. All stock is nursery-propagated (no plants from the wild), and our nursery is pesticide-free.
