Spiritwood features both full-sun and shade perennial beds, rock gardens, apple orchard, raised-bed vegetable garden, and naturalized pond landscape. There were no gardens when we moved here in 1989, so this is our growing project. Come to chat about composting, Eric’s underground irrigation system, solar panels on our art studio, geothermal system in our home. Welcome.

Getting to Spiritwood

  • Spiritwood is 6.3 kms on paved roads from Highway 148 and Rue Egan at Quyon: north on Chemin Lac-des-Loups for 5.2 kms, then right on Chemin Steele for 1 km. 
  • Routes coming from the east using Chemin Wilson or Chemin Westbrook are slightly shorter, but include some unpaved sections.
Drive 5.2 kms on Lac-des-Loups, then turn right onto Steele. Spiritwood is on the left after 1 km.
